Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand Korean multicultural students’ lives through photo elicitation interview using both photographs that the participants produce and their family albums. The photographs encode meanings and stories of lives and accelerate conversations between researchers and participants. The photographs make hidden stories audible that might have been ignored, omitted, forgotten, or taken for granted.
