Unearthing Students’ Digital Artifacts: Examining Technology Tools and Elements From a Yearlong Technology Integration Initiative

Abstract

The purpose of this session is to create a collaborative learning community in which we invite participants to engage in discussion of student use of technology in the classroom and share their experiences with students’ artifact production. It is our intention to expound on current conversations of technology integration research, specifically the purpose and creation of student artifacts in technology-enhanced curricula. The presenters will talk about the results of their research and discuss possible implications of the use of student artifacts for technology integration practices, professional development, and other possible methods to evaluate student artifacts.
