This paper identifies strengths and areas of need among teachers and other school staff related to bullying prevention. The data were collected from a nationally representative sample of 5,064 National Education Association members in 2010. We explored differences in exposure and perceptions of staff with various forms of bullying. We also identified specific needs for information and additional training related to bullying prevention. Furthermore, we examined the differences in reported feelings of connectedness. We found that school connectedness was a significant predictor of staff members’ willingness to intervene in bullying situations. These findings provide great insight into school staff members’ perceptions of bullying, including the unique perspectives of different groups of non-teaching staff.
