Mon, April 16, 2:15 to 3:45pm, Sheraton Wall Centre, Floor: Third Level, South Blue Whale

Abstract

An exploratory qualitative study examining experiences of generations of women faculty teaching in educational leadership programs and how experiences shape the role of mentor/mentee. These women currently serve in faculty and leadership roles in institutions of Higher Education and as mentors to doctoral students in various career leadership stages. The study was grounded under a critical feminist framework aiming to transform assumed realities shaped by societal policy and gender factors.
