This case study (Yin, 2009) examines the various cultural frameworks that exist within a small, cohesive Writing Program at ABC University undergoing substantial leadership and structural changes. To enhance our understanding of the organizational culture and change processes of the Writing Program this paper looks to organizational theorists’ depictions of culture and how culture describes group behavior and attitudes. Interview questions were structured within the framework of Martin's (2003) three perspectives of culture and subsequent open coding of the interview transcripts reflect elements of the organization's culture and leadership.
