Abstract

With the current educational climate in the U.S. moving toward the implementation of the Common Core State Standards, more changes in curricula are expected. Successful implementation can be facilitated by understanding teachers’ experiences during previous curriculum changes. Therefore, we provide a much needed teacher perspective to the literature base, by recording and analyzing teachers' perceptions as they reflected on their experiences during a large scale, state-mandated curriculum change.
