Comparison Between PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) 2009 and National Achievement Assessment of Korea

Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to examine the relationship between PISA reading achievement and NAEA Korean language achievement. Also, using Korean samples, we will also assess what variables are affecting students reading achievement of PISA and Korean Language Arts performance of NAEA most. This study was approached by analyzing the possible relationships of the context indicators on 2-levels which are student level and school level, with reading achievement in an international comparative context
