Parents or caregivers of children who struggle with reading may experience greater levels of stress and lower levels of psychological well-being than their counterparts. This study sought to exam the relationship between struggling readers' grade level from 4 unique academic settings and their caregivers' (n=104) coping behaviors. Differences in coping responses among the four academic groups were also evaluated. Several demographic variables predicted the use of certain coping mechanisms.
