Missing Data Procedures Used in a Large-Scale Randomized Controlled Trial: Lessons Learned and Limitations

Abstract

This proposal will provide an overview of state-of-the-art missing data presentation, diagnostic and multiple imputation procedures that were used in a recently published randomized controlled trial designed to evaluate the impact of a reading intervention program. Although the work does not contribute new missing data procedures, the presentation will present a series of “lessons learned” demonstrate the need for on-going research and technological development in this field.
