This series of interviews has been designed to examine the current status of efforts in educational neuroscience to bridge the gap between science and practice. Perspective of members from relevant academic disciplines doing transdisciplinary work participated in unstructured interviews addressing the following three questions: How do we build this transdisciplinary field? What should be applied to classroom practice and professional development? Within the current context of education, how can this work potentially impact policy and educational reform? Ten interviews have been conducted thus far, and additional interviews are scheduled. Emergent themes are presented that suggest critical starting points for creating avenues towards reaching the shared goals of this highly transdisciplinary field.
