This research probes the degree to which blended delivery can be faithful to teaching and learning about Foucault’s contributions to understanding educational curriculum a) as discourse about truth formation related to power and knowledge relations among many players in society and b) as the exercise of power by decision-makers, implementers, and students. This archaeological genealogical study of Foucault and Education builds on education graduate student understanding of educational curriculum discourses as the exercise of power. A scripted research report traces the students’ discourses, transformations, and the discernment of personal power educators and students possess.
