Implementing a Secondary STEM Teacher Preparation Program in Multiple Universities: An Evaluation Approach

Abstract

A total of 24 universities across 12 U.S. states currently are implementing a secondary science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) teacher preparation program developed in 1997 at a large research university in the southwestern United States.

The purpose of the proposed session is to share the summative evaluation plan for 13 of these universities as well as pilot summative data for two of the universities.
