Abstract

Higher education recognizes the need to incorporate new strategies in professional and faculty development in response to external changes and pressures. This poster session depicts the blueprint used to facilitate a legislative mandated state-wide education initiative for postsecondary faculty. The session reviews the underlying theoretical framework and methods used to design, develop, implement and evaluate the initiative. Early naturalistic and survey data will also be shared. The session focuses on the collaborative approach that drove implementation of the faculty development initiative.
