Identity Construction of Bilingual/Biliterate Teachers

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to explore the language histories that have helped bilingual/biliterate teachers develop their identities. Through semi-structured interviews with two bilingual teachers, language histories and language attitudes were explored. This project provides insights into fluid notions of identity and language development that have repercussions for classroom practices.
