Abstract

This presentation will interrogate the dominant discourse of margin/center and develop a theoretical construct that seeks to move beyond dichotomous thinking. The paper, although proposing a theoretical concept, does so by interweaving reflection on data gathered across racial, ethnic and linguistic lines.
