Engaging Critical Research on Asian Americans in Higher Education

Abstract

The dearth of research on Asian Americans continues to be an ongoing issue in higher education. Unfortunately, the lack of studies often leads to grave misperceptions and misprepresentations of this extremely diverse population. I plan to highlight the issues on why this continues to be the case but more importantly a current dialogue on ways to engage in more critical research approaches that are so often dismissed or ignored in discussion about Asian Americans.
