Abstract

Dr. de Castell will take up the question of how gender issues have migrated from what we fondly call the 'real' world, into the ethereal realms of cyberspace, and, through examples drawn from the digital game studies, make evident the urgent, and indeed critical, ways in which gender matters even when materiality might otherwise appear to have dropped out of the picture.
