Sat, April 14, 12:25 to 1:55pm, Vancouver Convention Centre, Floor: Second Level, East Room 2&3

Abstract

This session aims at providing theoretical concepts and empirical evidence for work condition
which supports learning from errors in the professions. The contributions comprise empirical
studies investigating different aspects of learning from errors in order to analyze the broad
scope of this issue. By discussing strategies of detecting errors, knowledge resulting from
error experiences, competence of dealing with errors and individual beliefs influencing the
way of dealing with errors, this symposium provides a comprehensive examination of an
unavoidable aspect of daily working life: Human fallability.
