Session Submission Type: Demonstration/Performance

Abstract

The online toolkit is a collection of user-friendly data tools applicable to various levels of comparative international education research. The three data tools which comprise this toolkit are aimed at facilitating the exploration, investigation, and empirical modeling of international assessment data. This toolkit is intended to be a practical resource to help answer research questions and inform evidence-based decisions related to education.

This session will consist of three presentations in which the capabilities of each tool will be demonstrated. These demonstrations will feature analyses centered on a common theme. Two eminent scholars in the field of international education will facilitate a discussion comparing the tools and highlighting the benefits, limitations, and potential next steps in the further development of them.
