Session Submission Type: Symposium
Through large-scale efforts, partnerships between K-12 and higher education institutions are studying K-12 student success. The papers in this symposium are about studies of how educational innovations influence and impact student success. While there are inherent challenges in the design, implementation, and research related to these efforts that lend complexity to studying them, the work is shedding light on the connections between educational innovations and student success. This symposium highlights complex issues that arise in the research being conducted by several National Science Foundation Math and Science Partnership projects that are studying the translation between educational innovations that involve teacher professional development and student success.
