Session Submission Summary

New International Developments and Cross-Validation in Constructive Knowledge Assessment and Rerepresentation

Sat, April 14, 4:05 to 5:35pm, Pan Pacific, Floor: Restaurant Level, Oceanview 7&8

Session Submission Type: Symposium

Abstract

Assessing the inner structure of knowledge has been an ongoing process for a very long time and still has many issues to resolve. In this symposium, we gather international scholars who have been continuously dedicated for years to develop new methodologies, new technologies and – on sound theoretical basis – also tools for assessment and performance support. The problem and at the same time also a part of the solution is that mental objects are representations of change, behavior, objects, causality, relations or more generally: of what is going on in the world. Overall, this symposium gives a reasonable theoretical and empirical research update on what has been studied and developed within the last years of constructive knowledge assessment.
