Research on Evaluation SIG Business Meeting: Conclusions About the Breadth and Depth of Research on Evaluation

Abstract

Leading figures in the program evaluation community have called for more research on evaluation for many years. Dr. Paul Brandon from the University of Hawaii will address the topics and methods of research on evaluation that have been addressed in a sample of the issues of leading evaluation journals in recent years, discuss how some of the research has been summarized over the years, and describe the characteristics of a small body of research that likely is representative of similar efforts by evaluators.
