Abstract

These roundtable discussions will focus on questions about preservice teacher identity constructions. Specifically, papers present findings on research about the resistance of White preservice teachers in urban settings, the feelings of preparedness of beginning teachers, and the development of preservice teachers' pedagogical content knowledge. Studies present research in varied contexts, including in urban schools and in international settings.
