This session addresses innovative approaches in ways to prepare elementary and secondary teachers to work with ELLs in content areas and inventive curricular and instructional strategies in-service teachers use in teaching ELLs content subjects. Specific studies examine the preparation of literacy, science, and biology teachers; other studies examine general preparation of teachers and practices of teacher educators.
