In this session the researchers focus on marginalized immigrant and minority students in the USA, Portugal and South Korea. The preparation of teachers to work with migrant families, undocumented worker families, and linguistically and culturally diverse families are discussed. The potential of preparing teachers within community based teacher education is also explored.
