Transformative Social Justice Practices in Diverse Contexts

Abstract
In this session the researchers present a series of topics on transformative practices in schools, classrooms and societies. The focus is on preparing teachers and educators through innovative methods that address teachers’ beliefs about working with ELLs and diverse students. A range of theoretical perspectives such as Critical Race Theory (CRT) and LATCRIT and a range of contexts from international field experiences to classrooms that use co-teaching are explored.
