Abstract
The papers in this session examine teachers’ beliefs as well as their actions. They push discussions about beliefs with respect to diverse student populations and unique contexts including different national policy contexts. They ask us to consider how their research adds nuance and enriches current understandings about teachers’ beliefs and actions. These authors also push the field to include the needs of particular students within these discussions.
