Invitational Learning in Multiple Contexts

Abstract
The Invitational Learning SIG provides a forum for sharing research on strategies for creating, maintaining, and enhancing inviting learning environments for all students. The theories and practices that underlie invitational learning, however, lend themselves to applications beyond school communities and classrooms. This paper session illustrates their broader application--to the fields of evaluation and grant-funded service programs as well as special education--extensions beyond conventional K-12 classrooms.
