Session Submission Type: Paper Session

Abstract

These papers examine activity and affordances in a variety of contexts, from the ways sociocultural capital advantages parents in school-based activity systems, to ways cultural artifacts representing the mass execution in the US-Dakota War emerged in conflicting activity systems, and to the way that goal structures can be viewed as perpetrating dilemmas with regard to activity systems.
