Abstract

Teachers create a variety of communities to share their inquiry and improve their practice, ranging from informal groups and online conversations to union-organized cohorts. Hear from K-12 teachers how these grassroots movements allow them to meet their professional learning needs and go beyond the prescribed professional development that is increasingly common in our schools.
