Push back the furniture! Roll up the rug!
A troupe of rambunctious respondents are making their way to the Vancouver Convention Centre to crack open each day at AERA and see what flies out. Anarchistic haikus, explosive movement and wild Balkan beats create a dynamic public space of daily ponderings and bold musings. We will surprise you -- and ourselves! Come be part of a new space invented and reinvented everyday where we can startle our own scholarship.

Non Satis Scire: reARTiculations! brings together a ‘very Vancouver’ troupe of intergenerational visual and performing artists from cutting-edge artistic disciplines – dance and theatre improv, slam poetry, music & comic book art. The troupe will attend conference sessions and produce new art pieces (poems, dances, songs, sketches) that reflect their artistic responses to the educational ideas and discussions they experience at AERA.

Non Satis Scire: reARTiculations offers AERA participants the chance to connect with representatives of the lively Vancouver alternative arts scene and to get acquainted with the intellectual life of this vibrant city. A performance stage and gallery in the foyer of the Convention and Exhibition Centre will be a showcase for these Non Satis Scire: reARTiculations as well as some of the artists’ more established work at the end of each conference day on Saturday 5:30-6:30pm, Sunday 6:05-7:05pm, and Monday, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
