This case study examined the perspective of parents who participated in a PDS project that involved university students, teachers, professors, and school administration. The project, Fiesta Math Night (FMN), was initiated to support mathematics interactions among Latino students and their parents in Title I PDS schools. In the sixth year of the project, parents were observed participating with their students during the multiple FMN events, completed surveys, and participated in interviews regarding their perception of FMN. Results from the analysis of data and triangulation of sources, suggest that: parents enjoyed participating with their children, valued doing mathematics in a culturally relevant setting, and welcomed the opportunity to integrate mathematics games in the home.
