Abstract

This quasi-experimental study investigated the impact of homework choice in a middle-school science classroom setting. The overarching goal was to see if students demonstrated greater academic success and motivation to learn when they were given a range of homework choices. Additionally, the study analyzed the impact of homework choice on subgroups within the overall population of 155 students, including students identified as academically “at-risk.”
