Constructing a Digital Habitus: Teachers and Digital Media in Early Learning Classrooms

Abstract

This project explores the role of digital media in the lives and classrooms of early childhood educators. With qualitative data from an online survey and a series of teacher interviews, this research demonstrates how a teacher’s disposition toward digital media, the digital habitus, is constructed and enacted in classrooms with young children.
