This article draws on methodological discussions about conducting narrative and other forms of qualitative research where participants and researchers spend extensive amounts of time with participants. Specifically, I propose considerations for researchers who are conducting narrative inquiry studies with adolescents, a topic which has not been explored to the same extent as adults or young children. Using a narrative frame, I highlight deal with inviting adolescents into an inquiry, working with narrative data obtained from them, and involving their parents in the research process.
