Abstract

This research looks into the determinants of persistence in Chile´s higher education, including sociodemographic, academic and student´s financial aid using descriptive statistics, logistic regression and propensity score matching to analyze students who graduated from high school between 2006 and 2009. Results confirm the importance of financial aid.
