Researching the Impact of Innovative Learning Materials Within STEM Education

Abstract

This large scale research within the field of STEM education investigates if girls can benefit from the use of innovative learning materials. Eight teachers and 511 students from six different secondary schools participated. Three knowledge tests in three different moments were offered. As a result multilevel software was used to analyse the hierarchical data. Evidence was found for the way content is visually presented.
