The proactive integration of Web 2.0 technology in the management of a Personal Learning Environment (PLE) requires self-regulated learning skills. This study examined the predictive relationship between each of the six aspects of online self-regulated learning (SRL) (i.e., environment structuring, goal setting, time management, task strategies, help seeking, & self-evaluation) and three aspects of PLE management (i.e., level of initiative, sense of control, level of self-reflection) respectively. The results of the study suggest that all six aspects of online self-regulated learning can predict sense of control and level of reflection in PLE management. As to the level of initiative in PLE management, all six aspect of online self-regulated learning except environmental restructuring can be useful predictors.
