Identifying a Cosmopolitan Lens in Multicultural Educational Research

Abstract

The purpose of this presentation will be to propose that a cosmopolitan turn in educational research is not only compatible with multicultural education’s main premises but is also a highly desirable direction for responsive and inclusive educational research projects. Through the retrospective analysis of the presenter’s cross-cultural research projects, the possibilities of cosmopolitan educational research will be highlighted and will be examined along with potential challenges.
