Findings from a study of middle school teachers participating in a science and technology integrated program include the prospect that providing teachers with technology resources along with training and support helps in teacher retention. Other findings include results related to age of teachers and their attitudes toward Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) as well as technology integration. Older teachers were higher on seven of the ten measures. Additional findings from this project indicated that teachers were much more confident and comfortable in their implementation of the project in their second year of the project indicating that project administrators might consider a possible delay in positive outcomes when implementing these types of projects with teachers.
