Mon, April 7, 8:15 to 9:45am, Marriott, Floor: Fourth Level, Franklin 11

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the structure of knowledge acquisition process of technology integration. Examining a relatively large number of instances (n = 368), the current study presents the best-fitting structural model for the given context, which explains acquisition of technology integration knowledge. Learner prior knowledge on technology, the learning of technology knowledge during the course, and the acquired knowledge of technology integration are used as constructs. The path coefficients of the model suggest useful implications for future research.
