The Evolution of the Design of the Remote Networked School

Abstract

The Remote Networked Schools (RNS) model is ecosystemic, and collaborative learning and knowledge building characterized it. We present here the evolution of its design, from inception as an idea to apply before closing a small rural school for a matter of quality of education to institutionalization in school boards with small rural schools of Quebec, Canada.
