This paper aims to explore the multicultural dimensions of Islamic schools and multicultural teaching experiences of Islamic school teachers in the United States. The study in this paper examines the issues of class, race and gender. The results of this study provide specific information on diversity in U.S Islamic schools and contribute to knowledge on critical multiculturalism. This study adopts a phenomenological inquiry that involves the analysis of five in-depth semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. This study acknowledges the need to provide multicultural curriculum which stimulates critical examination of race, class, and gender terms.
