Feminist Identity Development Among Black Women Undergraduates at a Historically Black University

Abstract

Given the growing body of literature on the benefits of feminist identity development on the psychological health of women, the purpose of the present study is to consider the feminist identity development of women on an HBCU campus with a student services oriented women’s center. Implications for research and practice are discussed.
