Toward the Education Nation? Revisiting the Impact of Financial Aid, College Experience, and Institutional Context on Baccalaureate Degree Attainment for Low-Income Students

Abstract

This study examines the impact of various forms of financial aid, student characteristics and experiences, and institutional context on six-year degree attainment for low-income students. For this, I incorporate disaggregated financial aid measures and use a propensity score matching, multilevel modeling approach to reduce estimation bias and account for the nested data structure.
