Abstract

This study explored the service-learning experiences of low-income, first-generation college students through in-depth, face-to-face interviews that were collected over the course of ten months at three institutions. The purpose of this study was to increase understanding of motivations for participating in service-learning courses and the related outcomes of that participation for LIFG students.
