The purpose of this qualitative study is to provide insight into the types of coping responses gay-identified, queer-identified, and hetero-sexual Latino male students use to overcome academic and personal obstacles during postsecondary education. By exploring the coping responses of these groups of Latino males, we may better address the array of obstacles these students encounter and gain greater understanding of the ways race, gender, and sexuality intersect during the coping process.
