A new transition assessment, the Transition Assessment and Goal Generator (TAGG), has been written to identify skills and behaviors needed for post-school education and employment. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the structure of the assessment matched the underlying theoretical framework and could be replicated with a new sample. Analyses revealed the structure of the TAGG adequately assesses the constructs about which it was designed and structural replication is possible as long as consideration is given to variability in sample characteristics. The results of this study provide ample evidence for the appropriateness of the structure of the TAGG for use with students having mild to moderate disabilities to assess college and career readiness skills.
