Abstract

This paper will unpack the roles of board facilitators with respect to the structural elements of their participation in collaborative work, as well as the agency and ownership held by the individuals in these roles. Two primary areas will be explored –the ways in which facilitators work to improve teaching practice and classroom learning, and the ways in which facilitators contribute to organizational learning and system improvement.
