Abstract

In this paper a new online evaluation system to evaluate the quality of tests, assessments and assessment programs is presented. In this new online application an argument-based approach to quality is used that originates in theories on the validation of tests and assessments. This paper elaborates on this theoretical framework that is used and describes the quality evaluation system that is built accordingly. This system is built using a design-based research method. As part of this method two evaluation studies are also performed and described in the paper as well.
